CATERING SERVICES TERMS & DISCLAIMER
By confirming a booking, placing an order, or accepting services from Sung’s Table, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:
FOOD ALLERGIES & CROSS-CONTAMINATION
All food prepared by Sung’s Table is produced in a kitchen environment where common allergens are present, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, gluten, sesame, shellfish, fish, mustard, and other allergens.
While reasonable precautions are taken during food preparation and handling, Sung’s Table cannot guarantee that any menu item or food product will be completely free from allergens or cross-contamination.
Sung’s Table does not provide allergy-safe meals and is unable to accommodate severe food allergies or guarantee compliance with dietary restrictions, including but not limited to gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher, low-sodium, diabetic, or medically restricted diets.
Clients are solely responsible for informing their guests of this disclaimer. Guests with food allergies or dietary concerns consume all products at their own discretion and risk.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Sung’s Table, including its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives, shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, food-related illnesses, injuries, damages, losses, claims, or adverse health effects arising from the consumption, handling, or service of food or beverages provided.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sung’s Table from and against any claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from food allergies, dietary restrictions, guest conduct, or misuse of products or services provided.
FOOD SAFETY & SERVICE
Once food has been delivered, served, or set up at the event location, Sung’s Table is no longer responsible for the handling, storage, temperature control, or condition of the food.
For food safety reasons, leftover food may not be suitable for later consumption if not properly refrigerated or handled. Consumption of leftovers is at the Client’s and guests’ own risk.
MENU SUBSTITUTIONS & AVAILABILITY
Menu items, ingredients, packaging, presentation, and serving styles are subject to availability and may be modified or substituted without prior notice due to seasonal availability, supply shortages, market conditions, or operational requirements.
Sung’s Table reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions with comparable products or ingredients.
EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client is responsible for:
Providing accurate event details and guest counts
Ensuring safe and adequate access to the venue
Obtaining any permissions required by the venue
Providing appropriate facilities, utilities, and workspace if required
Sung’s Table reserves the right to refuse service where conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, abusive, or unsuitable for food service operations.
PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS
Deposits are refundable if it is canceled 60 days prior the event date.
Final payment terms, cancellation policies, and minimum guest counts outlined in invoices, quotations, or service agreements form part of these terms and conditions.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest where permitted by law.
FORCE MAJEURE
Sung’s Table shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, supply shortages, labour disputes, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, power outages, or emergencies.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By submitting payment, signing a contract, confirming an order, or accepting catering services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Disclaimer in full.
