"Food is the ultimate connector that bridges us across backgrounds, serves as a love language for those we care about, and offers a simple gesture of kindness to strangers. It is much more that just a meal."
Sung's story
Hong Kong cuisine has been shaped by a rich blend of cultures, influenced by Guangzhou, neighbouring Asian countries, and Western nations through centuries of trading. This unique fusion has created a culinary identity that is simple, vibrant, and unmistakably Hong Kong. From fast food and street hawkers to dim sum and dai pai dong*, Hong Kong offers endless variety — if you can think of it, you can find it.
At Sung’s Table, we aim to create dishes rooted in tradition while elevated through modern techniques. Alongside our reinterpretations of classic flavours, we also showcase world-famous dishes through a rotating seasonal selection, bringing global inspirations to the table while staying true to Hong Kong’s spirit of culinary openness and creativity.

Just a food lover
“My culinary journey began in Hong Kong, where I helped my father at his food stall and learned to cook for my family from a young age before moving alone to Canada. Adjusting to a new country was not easy, but the comfort foods my father taught me became my anchor. Those recipes were more than nourishment as they were a source of comfort that eased my homesickness and kept my heritage alive.
With years of experience working in professional kitchens has given me the knowledge and expertise to create refined gourmet dishes. I hope to share this passion and craftsmanship with the public through food that brings people memorable dining experiences.”
